What is the Morgan Log House?

The Morgan Log House is an eighteenth-century Log home built on land originally owned by Daniel Boone’s maternal grandparents, the Morgans. The house was built, probably, between 1770 and 1774. The Morgan Log House is a 501(c)3 non-profit history organization.

What food and drink will be there?

Drinks will be provided by the Admiral of the Blue Apron, the Log House Bar featuring cocktails from the 1800s & early 1900s, and local breweries Favorite Child & Well Crafted. 

Delicious heavy hor d'Ourves will be provided by Chef Chipper of AAA Catering in Lansdale.

What will the night include?

Step back through time and enjoy cocktails and beverages through the ages! First, visit the Admiral of the Blue Apron and take yourself back to June 1785. We have just won the war but securing the peace is far from done. What better place to debate the issues of the day than in a tavern?  After visiting the Admiral, visit our new Morgan Log House Cocktail bar that will feature two cocktails from the late 1800s/early 1900s. If you prefer modern libations, make sure you visit local brewers Favorite Child and Well Crafted.

Also, we invite you to explore the Morgan Log House, view historic demonstrations, and participate in this year's BRAND NEW Bar Trivia! 

When should I buy tickets?

Tickets are limited in number and could sell out. We recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time, as soon as possible. Please note: we have three ticket types: General, Member, and Designated Driver. 

What is it for?

Tavern Night serves as Morgan Log House’s largest annual fundraiser and goes towards supporting the mission of the museum: to bring the past to life. This year's funds will also contribute to the replacement of our historic oak-shingled side-lapped roof. 

Tavern Night is intended for adults (21 years of age and older).

If you want to participate in this year's Bar Trivia, please check the question during your registration. Teams will be formed that night.
